We have completed part 1 of the campaign! Whoo! We will be taking a break for the holidays and coming back early January. I’ll update with the exact date when we get closer. I’ve added 3 more pts to everyone’s character sheets that you may use. I will be working on the next section during our break, so it should be a lot of fun.
Well we survived our first combat, though poor Chel didn’t make it through. Hopefully Eustace can be repaired though. We’ll plan on meeting in two weeks, November 17 at 7:00. We’ll figure out where we’re going from there after exploring the ship.
We’re still playing on November 3rd at 7:00, but if you guys would like I we can run through a short GURPS combat intro sometime before then so you guys can get the feel of it. Also, I found a program that’s pretty similar to what that TabletopForge wants to be called roll20. It’s an app we can use with the Google Hangout, so we’ll try it out next time. Check it out if you want: http://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/47458/star-key.
Well we’ve made it through 3 sessions! Whoo! I know it’s slow going over chat, but we are making progress. We’ll start with the combat for session 4 which is scheduled for November 3rd at 7:00. If something comes up and that won’t work, let me know as soon as possible.
In other news everyone should have access to the shared Google Drive folder where character sheets and other game related items can be saved. If you move your character sheets save there, then it will automatically upload it, which is pretty cool. I’ve uploaded the Combat Sheet, so check that out for quick reference to character skills and abilities related to combat, as well as weapon stats. Anyway, send me a message if you have questions on anything.
Until next time!
I have uploaded the basic ship layout on the Crimson Raptor wiki page so you can now see what the inside layout of the ship is.
The Adventure Log was updated after last session, though I might still have to go back and put who was speaking where, if it is confusing to anyone.
Our next session is this Saturday, October 6th at about 7:00 PM again. I’ve found an app for the Google Hangout that should make it a bit easier to type (the window can be re-sized) and should also allow us to roll in game and create a battlefield.
Welcome to Star Key, a campaign set in the distant future amidst the loose alliances of galactic civilizations and empires. It is set in the Traveller Universe, and uses the GURPS rules.
Please check out the known Background information that all players can start with. Then check out the Playable Races and Character Information to begin planning your characters. If you don’t have the 4th Edition GURPS book, you can get it here: GURPS:Basic Set. I have also just uploaded the Campaigns/Combat book, so spend some time looking at the combat and anything else that interests you there: GURPS Campaign/Combat Book
If you have questions regarding either the campaign or GURPS system, please ask and will do my best to answer. Keep in mind that while we’re using the GURPS system, house rules may supplant some of the official rules for simplification or for kicks and giggles. I will try and keep this page and all others up to date as much as possible, so please check it regularly as the campaign progresses.
