Human female professor with a cybernetic falcon
Eveline Loparco is the child of rich parents, and until recently, has never wanted for anything. As a child, she had a beloved pet falcon, gifted to her as a toddler. A tragic accident involving the falcon occurred when Eveline was 6, resulting in her parents paying exorbitant sums of money to save its life by replacing its broken body with cybernetic components (also rendering the falcon much more resistant to damage and destruction than a normal bird). As Eveline grew, her interest in the science of people and mathematics truly started to blossom. As she entered university, it quickly became apparent to her that she wanted to study psychohistory. She spent her undergraduate years studying under several influential professors in the field, and began to participate in psychohistorical research. These experiences made her a natural choice for a Ph.D. program in the field. She finished her Ph.D. 2 years early, as her aptitude for the subject was unmatched. The grants she brought into the university and the high quality of her published research had put her on a fast track to tenure. On the surface, Eveline was an extremely successful young woman who could only move up. As she began her first year as a researcher, Eveline became interested in the history of the Solomani. She spent significant time studying this subject; her appetite for literature on the subject was insatiable. She learned all she could, and she became something of expert. Her research on this subject eventually caused her to stumble on a vital piece of information. This information was extremely valuable to certain people, and those people would stop at nothing to keep Eveline quiet. Eveline was no longer safe in her ivory tower; they would be coming for her. She knew she had to leave, and that she had to protect the information at all costs.
